2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

LeBron James is reportedly not prepared to take a pay cut to return to the Cavaliers, per Brian Windhorst.

LeBron will enter free agency this offseason after spending eight years with the Lakers.
I appreciate the honesty

Get the bag

Fuck a ring

Now that that's out of the way

Just watched some clips of the Moseley press conference.

I like what I'm hearing but I just wanna see it translate on the court. It's super early but it seems like they are fine with the current roster but that could just be PR talk

Lebron sign and trade for Jordan Poole, Herb Jones, Yves Missi and a future first

Fears
Murray
Murphy
Lebron
Queen

Move Zion for a pick in the 2026 draft and another player

Pelicans is BACK!!
This means I'll have to root for LeBron and I'm not mature enough in my fandom to do this unfortunately😞

I really want to understand why ya'll think Lebron is a good pickup at this point, but I know I'll just be dismissed as a Lebron haters, so I'll leave it be.

Mozzarella the GOAT

But fair is fair

It has to go to Mitch Johnson

He was coaching summer league not too long ago
I wouldn't be mad either way but mazzulla meant much more to the Celtics this year than Johnson to the spurs. I don't know which coach you could slot in on the Celtics that would have had them perform at the level they did in the regular season having cut out that many key pieces and not having their best player for 85% of the season. I could name a bunch of coaches that probably could have had the spurs performing at the same level. The Celtics burning out in the first round shouldn't be held against him.

I mean to an extent yeah i agree but I can’t ignore the spurs having the 2nd best record in the league after the Thunder

Why not? The Pistons had the third and the Celtics had the fourth best record behind the thunder. That argument only leads to what im saying, unless wins are the metric then it should go to daignault.
