No but they was both throwing around reckless shit about each other. Im on the side of i can see why Drake is still pissed but I could also see why Kendrick would be too because you accuse me of beating my wife then I'm gonna have a problem with you forever

Just my two cents:

There's a bias against Drake and maybe it has to do with being one of the biggest artists in the world.

Sure, there's the ole Spiderman line about responsibility and all that, but rarely do we hear the same criticisms for niche artists like Gibbs, Larry June or Griselda.

Music is entertainment at the end of the day. Looking for any of these niggas to reflect the times we're living in is like looking for McDonald's to be healthy. There are far too many options to be focused on what "x" is or isn't doing.

Fans can't and shouldn't dictate how an artist chooses to present their art. Otherwise that takes away the freedom of expression and individuality.
 
The other side of that is that a consumer can critique a body of work if they sat down and listened to said project.

They gave their time. If they decide they don't like it then that's what it is.

That's different than actively seeking something out knowing damn well you don't like it In the first place.

I'll never go into a thread about heavy metal because I don't listen to that stuff.

I tend to stay away from things that don't service me *shrugs*
 
I tried the album today... It should come with a 'warning do not listen to whilst driving or operating heavy machinery', this sh!t nearly put me too sleep...

Felt like Drake wasnt trying most the album, just freestyling to instros, the bars were weak as fck 'I’m feeling like BTS cause it took the whole Korea (career) for me to be Seoul (soul) discovered' WTF???

Along with weak and lazy bars, there was just energy, no bangers like 'Started From The Bottom' it was just the same throughout, felt like I was being forced to do homework getting through the album...

Also felt like Drake was trying to steal Oakland style on '2 Hard 4 The Radio', didnt feel like a Mac Dre tribute more like swagger jacking Oakland or DJ Quik styles, like hes previously done with London and Jamaica etc

Im not hating either, Im not a Drake fan but I like quite a few singles here and there over the years... I actually thought the album was gonna have some heat...

'B's On The Table' was probably the tune I liked most...

You're taking this personally lol. Somebody enjoying the music is just that. They enjoy the music. Iceman has some good songs. People enjoying that shouldn't bother you. I criticized Drake in this very thread for lack of substance. You coming at anybody who liked some songs on the album like they're a stan says more about you going out your way to hate.
