My bad b
Went to Sandals in Jamaica.
I'm a resort dude during this season in my life. I get immense happiness just from waking up, going to breakfast, sitting poolside for a few hours getting drinks and bites, going back to the room and getting ready for dinner. I just need to turn my brain off.
The staff was second to none and easily my best experience. I typically do resorts at Mexico and while they are good for a fraction of the cost, you just don't get the same level of experience. This isn't to say the staff there aren't wonderful, but my biggest hurdle is always the language barrier. But that's my fault, not theirs.
If you can splurge, I would get the butler service. I had a duo. They did a very good job of tending to the needs. Did the private ride service to the resort but used the public one back to the airport. The driver one the way stopped and picked up some weed for $30. Didn't even get to smoke it all so I had to leave some behind :(
My ONLY gripe is my ignorance about Jamaica in the sense of the British influence...well...there were a lot of crackas there. A LOT. Mexico seems to be a better entry point for people wanting to do a resort which again, isn't a bad thing, but to see someone come to Jamaica and order beans and toast for breakfast was WILD!!!
Next up...back to Mexico later this year...yep...on another resort. Cant wait!!
