He's gotten a bunch of game balls over his career. He's going to have statues and his jersey put up in multiple arenas. That was a ridiculous game ball to be upset about. He should be embarrassed if that story is true.

Wasn't a fumble it was a favor for barnes. Gave his best friend since childhood a look. We had 3 picks but neither mogbo or shead were going to drop to 54. So we just charged it at 31. Thats how you properly circumvent the cap. 😌
 
Seems like duren is leaving money on the table. I wonder how the Pistons approach free agency. Do they treat it as an anomaly, take advantage of the situation and low ball an offer? Do they hit the market and try to draw for hartenstein, or Kessler? Do they take the money they were potentially going to spend on duren and buss it down on multiple guys? Critical summer ahead.

Alot of it also depends on how they feel about this season.

Is this team a real consistent 60 win team, or did they just have a good year?

If they think the 60 wins is legit, then all they need to do this tinker.

But how we all see it they need to make major moves.

Weird place to be in to be a 60 win team but also feel like you need to make major changes to the roster
 
Imo Duren has to go figure it out elsewhere.

It sucks cause he had a good season and even with a horrible playoffs he's gonna get a lot of money.

From what I seen in the playoffs, hes a 15 million dollar player. No way he even comes down close to that number though.

And he might go legit be good somewhere but I can't be this close as a team and risk giving him anything near 30 mil. And he realistically gonna be asking for closer to 40.

I said this back in January and Ive maintained this stance

Id be completely fine letting him walk if he wants a crazy number

Aye mayne, say mayne.....either I didnt know or I forgot that the Pacers also included an unprotected 2029 1st round pick in that Zubac trade!?

For Zubac is absolutely insane wtf

Hes on a cheap deal making 20 mil this upcoming season and 21 next then he's a free agent....so you have to resign him at age 31
