2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

you and South do this thing where ya'll take what i say and add shit to it instead of the actual words that I use

I never said Hibbertt was a HOF or had a hof trajectory, but he was listed as one of the best or better big men at his peak, however short that was.

One bad playoff series and next thing you know, he outta here. The game absolutely passes people by, but not in one season.

All i was saying was that his fall off was crazy to witness and that he still had some value despite the collapse in Indiana.
Roy Hibbert was a serviceable big man who made his bones on jumping straight up to contest shots during a time there was no real big men except Dwight post torn labrum and back issues, Demarcus cousins, and Marc Gasol

You said Roy Hibbert was done dirty and the pacers deserved to not get their pick because of how they handled Roy hibbert

So let’s get into Roy Hibbert to let you know he’s not even worth your sentiment

1. Roy Hibbert during his tenure with the pacers shot 46% as a Center which is horrible. And again this is during a time where there weren’t any so they eliminated the C spot on lists

2. Also his career high was 12.8 ppg

Imagine nic claxton a few years back being a multiple all star (also claxton >>)

3. Nurkic was a better overall player so idk why you scoffed when I brought him up

4. You said he deserved a shot after the pacers

Did he not play on the lakers and hornets after? He did get a shot

He was ass

Before he barely turned 30

5. You mentioning hall of fame and number 1 and 2 options, Roy Hibbert was the 5th option at best on a team in his prime

So I say all of that to say nobody did Hibbert dirty, and the pacers don’t deserve any flack for how they dealt with him

Bringing him up in 2026 is wild and I don’t wanna hear something like this from you again

I think it was more the lack of high value centers at the time. Niggas weren't expected to shoot, switch, have a low post bag or do much outside of rebound so joakim Noah giving you 12/10/3 and 2 blocks was allstar level play.

It was Dwight Howard then al Jefferson and Andrew Bynum. Shit was dark for a bit.

I’ll slap the shit outta you

Not sure how they're able to approach it with reeves probably about to opt out but the need to keep him, move on from lebron, cut rui and kennard salaries by damn near half and throw a bag at Payton Watson and another at walker Kessler if there's enough left or go after Mitchell Robinson. Can't miss on their first round pick either.

Don’t remember this at all

Also what does this have to do with anything
was just curious...no trap

you gotta relax man lol

you need to thank me for giving you the opportunity to shit on Hibbert. You been holding that in for a while

You’re making it seem like I was wound up

I really was asking what does this have to do with the current argument

I didn’t know it was you going off on a tangent

Also don’t play me like I was waiting for the day someone brought up hibbert

Somebody said something nonsensical and I leapt into action that’s all
