So let me get this straight.

You and other “FBAs” are perfectly fine with Trump and Republicans systematically stripping away civil rights, equal opportunities, public safety, a living wage, affordable housing, affordable education, and access to affordable healthcare — despite the devastating impact that will have on the Black community.

But somehow we’re supposed to believe you care deeply about Black people because you support reparations???

That’s an interesting contradiction: ignoring the destruction of people’s rights and quality of life right now while pretending a hypothetical future check makes up for it because YOU aren’t the one struggling.

They don’t care, they just need something to define their identity. That way when they get on message boards and around other people they can claim a certain conviction they think makes them honorable.

The idea of leveraging a vote only works if you have power. Willingly giving up that power does the exact opposite. You don't get what you want by taking your ball and going home. At that point you've removed yourself from the game so what sense would it make to think that by removing yourself and not caring while also watching your way of reentry be sabatoged you'll get people knocking at your door again?
