i consider them a group even if Eric B. B didnt rap himself...he was the beatmaker and producer which was imo vital to their success.

I thought earlier duos werent considered a group??? A group means more than 2 members imo

1st album: Erick Sermon, Parrish Smith, and DJ K-La Boss (aka DJ 4our 5)

2nd Album onward: Erick Sermon, Parrish Smith, and DJ Scratch.

EPMD has always had three members.

They werent proper/full time members imo DJ Scratch collab'd on some tracks but they are known as a duo...

Scratch has been their official DJ since Unfinished Business. Mans was a whole member of the group from '88-'89 until they fell out back in 2015.

Its not a hill Im gonna die on, I just think they are known as a duo... Its like saying Cappadonna is the 10th member of Wu but if Im not gonna argue it...
