First of all all black Americans are owed at least 800,000 for reparations each. That’s like 34 trillion dollars. I’m with it but I haven’t seen anybody outside Tariq Nasheed and a lady in CA and I think Oakland mentioned a hearing for reparations

Agree it’s needed but we all know nobody is running on that or even letting it be discussed. I get what you saying that we need to force the issue and probably should’ve forced it under Obama. Maybe we should’ve lobbied our politicians with the power they have to do something

But can we keep it real @Knock_Twice outside of FBA online discussion. How many of us think reparations is something that we will actually receive in this lifetime or the next? That’s what I think your aren’t getting. We know it’s deserved and we know it can be done. But we all feel like nobody is going to give reparations.



If all 43 million of us stopped voting today I do t think either party would do anything as drastic as reparations to bring us back

Lets keep it real. If the good guys (dems) won't give us reparations but gave reparations to other groups....wont give land grants, free education, pretty much wont give black ppl their wish list, then what the fuck am I voting for.....


If you work on a job and its 10 of yall and your boss, gives you a 30 min break....all 10 of you all are asking for better supplies to do your job...to survive the day....you all are using nose clippers to cut the lawn outside....got just enough of shit to survive...boss man can say, let me give these guys a better object, tool to survive help with their duties...but instead he doesnt..

What reparations have Dems given other groups. Last time I heard of anyone getting reparations were Japanese Americans from ww2. Natives haven’t gotten any reparations some Tribes have casinos but most of them below poverty line

So who was in charge when the Japanese got there’s cuz I haven’t heard of anybody but them get reparations

Thank you. I’ve been saying pretty much this same thing for some time now.

The entire “give us reparations or else” narrative feels like a carefully crafted long con by opposition-controlled agents. The fact that these guys — and so many others claiming to be intelligent and politically astute — can’t see through this facade is mind-blowing. They can’t see that they are the ones being emotionally and psychologically manipulated and exploited, worse than the people they have been attacking and trying to shame

Yes, Black people in America would gladly take $2–3 million checks. I definitely would. But not every Black person ("FBA") wants or desires to be driving Bentleys or living in multi-million-dollar mansions like your Grand Puba Tariq.


At the end of the day, if you ask people what they really want, it’s pretty simple: equal rights and opportunities, public safety, a living wage, affordable housing, affordable education, access to affordable healthcare, etc. — all the things you deem not worth fighting/voting for and “not important” to the Black community.

The very things your pal Trump and Republicans have been systematically stripping away.
