Hantavirus is typically rodent-borne (via urine/droppings/saliva), not something that spreads easily person-to-person or pops up on luxury cruises. The Andes strain (common in parts of Argentina/Chile) is a rare exception that can have limited human-to-human transmission in close/prolonged contact—which is what investigators suspect happened here after an index case.


No rodent source confirmed yet on the ship, and Argentina’s departure region had no prior local cases flagged. WHO calls the general public risk low, and experts emphasize this isn’t “the next COVID.”

A lot of help the "experts" were last time. It was literally the experts fault. 😒

What was the experts' fault. What did the experts do or tell us to do that made COVID worse than it would have been if we all had just done what we wanted?

The virus got leaked out of a lab. Intentionally or unintentionally by experts.
 
I’m not going to stand for the cruise hate. Mainly because I’m going on one in June lol.

Cruises are awesome. Everything you need in one place. Everybody, including kids and teens, got something they can do. Food’s good, entertainment is good. Nothing bad to say about a cruise.

1 in thousands of cruises have an issue. If you don’t like those odds, you shouldn’t fly either.
