Hmmm I could see why both teams would be interested in this

I think if Im Dallas Im very hesitant to give up draft capital considering after this draft they don't control their own pick until 2030

Both teams trading one injured player for another.....Magic get older bet get some assets......Mavs get younger and a good complimentary piece but have give up more assets

Idk I think Orlando should be patient and could get a better return in a Franz deal

Hartenstein would be a big upgrade but they have to resign him immediately

CMB needs to be in the starting lineup next year imo

This playoff run probably made Toronto look at their team a lot differently than they did before the series started and like they report said they're going to be active so they really might look to shake things up around Scottie Barnes


I think Myles Turner would be a good fit if he could I know he had a bad year and his contract isnt great but its not horrible either if he can bounce back....I think Darko could resurrect him

I want to see Barnes with a spaced floor to operate in but I know those kind of centers are hard to find

Yeah I agree about CMB so since he should be a starter they need to find a way to unload BI for a big like Turner (good pick btw)

Thing is I would prefer another big than Turner but I can’t even think of one which goes back to them being hard to find

I agree, Turner isn't the ideal but thats also because its only like 5-7 of them in the league if you're talking legit 3&D centers

I laughed but this isn't a bad trade

I was stunned when I looked at Ware's PER and shooting

What exactly is it that Im missing with him and Miami? Is it the fit with Bam? Is he Whiteside on defense where he's blocking shots but doing it out of the scheme/position? Clashing with Spo?

20.0 PER on 18 usage

He actually has a positive net rating with bam so I don’t even think it’s him

Don’t think is clashing with spo either

While he’s a good dude he just doesn’t value positional defense over block hunting

Um…for the most part yes but the only thing I would think we are doing incorrectly is not letting him play through mistakes enough or playing free enough

But he’s not that great of a defender (kinda like Duren)

But on the flip, he’s not a gamer like how a CMB or Diabaté is so he has way less intangibles

Basically I’m indifferent on him while knowing he has decent upside but I would perfectly be okay with him gone
