I don't like how stiff the animations look so far and I'm not feeling the cell shading for characters. This ain't borderlands

I actually bought those and had fun

I say that to say those games seem to be better than this

But I hope it does decent just to have something different and more casual out there
 
Just watched the entire video

Dude said there are plans for offline user vs CPU mode

Said it's going to be supported throughout the year(s) so doesn't sound like a yearly released game

He was basically saying that this is made by 18 people.

The artists actually hand draw all the players, no scans which is why the roster is so limited but they plan to add at least 3 players per team, a la Street and special players as well. Celebs, streamers, etc...

They have responded well to feedback including some of the dribble animations and like I mentioned earlier, there are plans for additional modes. I can't remember if he said he wanted a career mode or if it was something also in the plans

It was in reference to you saying they might struggle out the gate, paraphrasing

In other words, people should be prepared for the marathon and not a sprint in terms of updates and implementation of said updates
