Based on their draft track record, recent trade history, and free agency, I will say a bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Nobody in Philly's draft range is better than McCain. I trust a proven commodity over an unproven commodity. Plus, it ain't like they have a proven track record for player development.

My ideal scenario was to keep McCain until you get a proven Grimes replacement bcuz no way in hell you resign him. Coulda worried about McCain's contract when it was time. I love the return (if it works), but history is not on their side.
