Are These The Top 5 Black Cities In The US?

If he's talking about the top 5 metropolitan areas (i.e., the primary city and surrounding cities), I can agree. If he's just talking about the city itself, I disagree. I think there are multiple cities in the DC metropolitan area that are better for black people than DC itself.

Detroit was literally named one of the top 10 tourist destinations in the world and been on a grip of top travel destination lists for a hot minute.

I got family that moved to Charlotte from out here something like 16-17 years ago. Said they ain't never seen so many complacent ass Black folks bend to whitey as they have in Charlotte.

Got cousins in the Richmond, VA area, one of which works in DC. Cuzzo would rather live fuckin' 2 hours away than live in DC. Mans stay tellin' me "DC ain't it cuz".

How the fuck does Houston even qualify as a "Black" city when less than a quarter of the population is Black? Shit, Charlotte is barely any better at about a third Black.

i dont know about the 300k of wealth thing but there alot of predominately blavmck neighborhoods here though

don't ya'll still got a bunch a vacants and $1 homes out there?

not to mention the water was already bad in Flint, and Flint ain't too far away from Detroit

Flint is 75 miles north of Detroit. Their water ain't got shit to do with Tha D.

You acting like NO ain't blighted out or Charlotte doesn't also have a problem with it. Shit, DC got about three times the number of blighted out homes than Detroit even tho Tha D is over twice its size.

Driving 4 hrs everyday for work is crazy, but yea, that's bullshit.


I did some street photography out in Richmond not too long ago…. that's one of the dustiest cities I've ever been to. I felt so bad I was giving out money to the kids like Nino with turkeys.

As a native Texan, I dunno about Houston in the big 26'

Cops are an issue, and racists have been getting a bit too comfy round here. Especially in light of that Latina HPD cop ranting about Black men.

Been thinking about leaving the state behind altogether for a few years now.

They comfy 'cause they outnumber Black folks, not by much tho.

Truth be told, Houston is more of a Mexican city than anything else. IIRC there's as many or more Mexicans there than Blacks and white combined.
