We can really go in a multitude of ways

One reason its not all doom and gloom is we do have a lot of premium assets in the cupboard, financially flexibility and team friendly deals so its not a situation where we're stuck and cant reshuffle the deck

We can trade KD and get younger, try to add another star to what we have, move some of the young players ect
Yeah yall definitely wasted a yr of kd career but there's still time and enough assets to recover. Only one bad contract on the roster really. Not a end of the world situation at all.

Sengun was inefficient before that
Tari had low bbq iq before that
Amen couldnt shoot outside of the paint before that
Jabari left a lot to be desired before that

At the end of the day KD is 37 years old, was second in the league in minutes and played pretty much every game....he did what we paid and asked him to do

The problem is the guys we spent 4 years tanking for havent developed....Our coach is a dickhead and our front office failed us

If you want to blame KD thats fine but he's not higher than fourth if we're dividing up the blame pie
100%. Not disagreeing with anything. The KD shit low on the totem poll. But its still there on the totem poll.

Not making a trade for another guard when Alvarado, white, ayo and McCain were moved for nothing of value was a choice.

They didnt want to overpay these guys.....Rockets have a bunch of really good assets but they're light on seconds, late firsts ect

OKC has an infinite amount of picks so they could afford to trade a 1st and three second round picks for McCain(which was a great trade for Philly btw despite their fans being emotional about it)

Now with that being said.....thats not an excuse to not do anything, this is why you get paid the big bucks to figure this stuff out and make the appropriate moves

Watching the product on the court and deciding to stand par and do absolutely nothing is inexcusable, unacceptable and indefensible

Facts...Im not trying marginalize it like it didnt matter, it was the definitely the cherry on the shit sundae and tbh I dont think we've heard the last of that situation

As KD goes from team to team, delivering underwhelming team performances and messing up each's rebuild, at what point do you say that KD wasted a year of the respective teams, and not the teams wasted a year of KD's career?
When he underperforms. There's no one player carrying an nba roster much less a 37 yr old one. Fohwtbs.

I'm not just thinking of his on-the-court performance. I'm thinking of his presence in the organization as a whole, including in the locker room.

He's definitely lacked his whole career as a leader in the locker room but I can't put him at fault for whats happening in Houston. He's 37. We been knowing thats not who he is so it shouldn't have been expected. He's not going to carry a room emotionally/mentally nor does he need to be carried. If thats what people were expecting they haven't been paying attention to bro.
