I can't speak for them, but I'm pretty sure that argument was only in place cuz he thought he was pulling some skinny ass little only fans white chick who didn't even know who he was and set him up. Basically saying he should have known better.

Nia is literally talking about NDA agreements and dealing with dudes who know how to keep their mouth shut. Which is precisely the kinda advice Shannon should be taking.
