We didn’t need to see the outcome

1. DC was down REAL bad before The Flash and didn’t nearly have the success the MCU had at all

2. They were in the midst of changing regimes

3. The film had been delayed numerous times and went through a ton of reshoots

4. And probably most importantly, the star of the movie was a public menace

They were willing to say ANYTHING to ensure ppl would see the movie even if it meant claiming it as the best comic movie ever lol

Here the MCU is comparing itself to itself lol
