is there really a debate about BLACK BOYS and bonnets?

Lol. Maybe you didn't but it's not a new or recent thing at all. A dude who would get his hair braided but wore a pony tail for a few days. Guess what that is?

It's called getting his hair braided or wearing a ponytail.

As someone that wore his hair long at various points until genetics came into play as well as my pops, uncles, and younger brother, I assure you this was not a term ever used from the 60's-2000's.

Shoutout to him for taking care of his hair

Shit this thread reminds me, I gotta find my bonnet

It’s probably under the bed or something

Lol. Regardless of what you called it..it's the same damn thing. You just don't like what some other people called it or have come to call it...but the actual thing has been done as you just said for a long ass time.

What's wrong with a man having nice skin though

Women love a man with a skin regimen

I've heard the opposite from some of my previous women coworkers. They looked at it as being girly or metrosexual in nature which, at the time, was "suspect" in their own words.

But, to reiterate:

Y'all got it tho, I'm prolly not supposed to understand how new niggas operate anyways.
