i thought he was a pelicans killer...looks like just that one game. This is his career games against them. Fwiw, he was +6, +6, +7, and -3 in these games

lol I’m okay with Risacher not being liked

I kinda dont like his lack of assertiveness myself

What if he’s more Deandre Hunter than…for lack of a better comparison.. early Jayson Tatum?

I liked Risacher predraft but that was with the understanding of who he was and his potential but being more Hunter than Tatum was always the case for him. A better version of what Hunter was supposed to be would've been my expectation

He never had that kind of on ball juice, fluidity or iso scoring ability to be one of these big wing go to scorer types.... he was never going to be that if you watched any of his film even

Anybody who ever thought that played themselves

I’ll be honest I didn’t watch much of him predraft

But the stuff I did see I saw the case for him being the #1 pick

(Like why they would take him #1 not that I agreed with it)

Yeah okay so now I need him to get traded to the kings

Then I can see a young ish core of

Peterson, Acuff, or Mikel
Clifford
Risacher
Murray
Raynaud

Thats why I try to cut him some slack

It was a weak draft and Sarr didnt want to go there

You have to remember too where Atlanta was at during this time, they were still trying figure out if Trae was their franchise guy so they're trying to add the pieces around him to mitigate his weaknesses....they didnt know they were eventually getting guys like Nickeil and Dyson

These 6"7-6"9 wings are the most value players in the league so they took the guy who in theory would be an excellent fit with a Trae Young centric team.....defends, cuts, shoots, athletic not a scorer but they didnt need him to do that

Of course he's not the typical number 1 pick and will never produce like it and in hindsight they should've went for the upside in Sarr but they went with fit because they were still in win now mode

Risacher
Sarr (Ironic since Trae is his teammate)
Reed
Castle
Holland or Matas

With the #1 pick

Nasty candidate selection lol

But yeah as soon as Sarr said fuck off they was stuck lol

But still they should’ve drafted Sarr anyways

Worst case scenario they just move him

But I still maintain he woulda been fine there

He must’ve got his jewelry stolen when he was playing in OTE or something lol

I agree...its a prime example of taking BPA and then figuring it out later. Always secure the assest

Like I was saying the other week Houston found this out the hard way as well drafting Jalen Green over Evan Mobley

Utah played it right with Ace Bailey......a lot of times players will say they dont want to be somewhere and then they get there and see the facilities, staff, city ect and change their opinion real quick. A lot of that shit is just posturing

Everybody talked about how Bailey didn’t want to be there and now we are posting him dropping 30 in meaningless games in April

On the low Bailey had ben doing a the little things for Utah that people said he wouldnt do....playing hard on defense, cutting, take good shots, hustling. Everyone thought he would come in chucking and that hasn't been the case

Jazz basically rewarded him and gave him the greenlight to get his shot ups at the end of the season because he bought in all year
