There is at least one Wrestlemania weekend event that has seen TNA talent pulled and it may not be alone, PWInsider.com has learned.

PWInsider.com has heard from multiple sources that former TNA Champion Moose was set to perform at the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Multiverse show on Friday 4/18 but after TNA approved the appearance, there was a change made and Moose has been pulled from the event before MLP could officially announce him. The belief is Moose would have been in the ring with talents from another promotion, likely AEW.

The rumblings over the last few days is that TNA has had a change of heart about letting their talents in the ring with talents contracted to other companies, which could have a ripple effect on not just other events Wrestlemania weekend but potentially, future events down the line after the big Las Vegas weekend. Wrestlecon's annual Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow recently announced Ricochet vs. TNA's Leon Slater, a match we are told was approved by all parties. Attempts to reach Wrestlecon's Michael Bocicchio today to check on the status of that match have thus far been unsuccessful.

The stories making the rounds is that TNA would not want their talents in the ring with talents from opposing promotions, especially if those events could stream live or be taped for future release. The concern, based on what we are hearing, seems to be centered around the idea that someone could conceivably show TNA talents in a bad light or losing on rival programming. Whether that is a concern that AMC brought up now that they are carrying TNA Thursday Night Impact or even something TNA partner WWE voiced concern over, PWInsider.com cannot confirm at this time.

AEW Collision and TNA Impact went head to head for an hour that overlapped last Thursday, with TNA's usual audience dropping specifically during that hour. Again, whether there is a connection there is unknown at this time, but it's interesting timing.

PWInsider.com has reached out to TNA for comment but has not heard back.

We’ve learned of another match that TNA nixed of late.

TNA President Carlos Silva confirmed to Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp that a number of TNA talent have been pulled from planned indie matches against AEW talent. Carlos Silva indicated that it was due to "partner conflicts," but we've learned of a previous block as well.

Sources familiar with the situation claimed to Fightful that MJF was actually planned to face longtime friend Bear Bronson at GCW in March, however, TNA blocked it. It was noted that Mercedes Mone vs. Jody Threat was not blocked, with the TNA wrestler going over last week. A number of TNA wrestlers expressed frustration to us about the decision.

Sources told Fightful Select that Carlos Silva was not happy about AEW running Collision on a Thursday last week, which was a WBD call. AEW sources claimed that AEW would have likely preferred to air after March Madness games because of the lead in.

We’re better than Becky and Seth, we’re better than AJ and CM Punk. We’re better than Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth. I stand on that. I feel like we’ve resurged couples in WWE.”

Aight man I can’t with Liv anymore lmaoooo hopefully this interview was done before she bashed skulls with Rox, maybe that will rewire her brain back to normalcy

Updates on McAfee/Orton/Cody Story and changes

“WWE is reworking some plans.

Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that WWE has "reworked" some of the plans for this Friday's Smackdown after the reaction to the Pat McAfee, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton angle. Wrestlevotes also says that additional outside involvement that was speculated to be Jelly Roll. It was said that WWE went back to the drawing board to discuss any possibilities regarding the story

Sources stated that CM Punk's comments on Monday were an indicator of the shift and the plans becoming fluid throughout the week, as his comments were not a part of the plan the as of the Friday of the Pat McAfee reveal.

We ask when aggregating, you wait a responsible amount of time, and credit Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select. Please link/tag as well.”
