That would be dumb, but I wouldn't put it past them. I don't know if I'd call the rule a knee jerk reaction though. They waited so long to implement it in response to the load managing that load managing had kinda died down by the time they did it. lol I still think it's necessary though. Some of the players still have the mindset that load management or picking and choosing which games they want to play is ok. I'm just of the mind that it isn't. If you can play, you need to play.

Also, was he the first overall pick? Y'all talking about him like he was. All I'm saying is, he put together a solid rookie campaign with a roster that had a lot of square pegs with round holes and y'all talking about the nigga like he a bust after 70 something games or however many he's played this year

He didn't ask Dumars to trade the pick to get him. He had some rookie highs, he had some rookie lows but put together a very solid rookie campaign

But they are committed to it at this point. Not sure what paths they could've taken to at least make him a 1b option but trading for Bane wasn't it. It was a panic trade which I'm sure you and your committee would agree with

How many more years left on his current deal?

They don’t HAVE to be committed and you got some nerve asking me about the years left on his current deal when I literally posted his contract

I missed that part

I agree they don't have to be but they probably are. Same with Nola ownership and Zion. Operations probably want to make some moves to bring in another player and take some of the load off him but they are probably handcuffed by ownership

Everything is essentially down from his rookie year...minutes, pts, efficiency, usage......he is shooting almost 38% from 3 on about 4 attempts per game up from 35% his rookie year which is encouraging but thats about it
