2026: Back to the randomness

American culture for one, ie., the foods we eat, music we listen to, language we speak, social activities we enjoy... There are differences between what whites and blacks do in America, but those differences are smaller than what you get when comparing what an African American does to what a Nigerian or a Kenyan or a Ghanian does.
Food?

Traditional African American foods relate more to West African foods than anything

But keep going

Hey thanks I had a combination of being off Lexapro too long and an edible kicking to the point I had a really serious panic attack and I genuinely thought I was dying and I couldn’t walk and my heart was going crazy and I felt like I was slipping out of consciousness

But I’m just a shock poster and the new tom green 😌
You gotta get high more often....

That was the point, it was my 3rd edible this week

I’m trying to build tolerance because I also take them to help me write my novel
Shit, if you were so high that you thought you were having a panic attack.... That would have been a great time to write....stay the course. Now you know how your body responds.

African American cuisine has an African influence, but it's an element of American culture. Fur example, Mac and cheese is a soul food staple. It's not African in any sense.
That’s one and wasn’t that created for Thomas Jefferson or some shit like that

Anywho almost everything else that is considered a staple in African American culture comes directly from West Africa

You guys having an African discussion I see

But do you ever think about

Foods in the Caribbean and South America and how it’s not like Europen foods….or is it

Do people in SPAIN eat Empanadas?
Certain Jamaican food is it ate by British peopl?
South American foods are not ate by Portuguese in Portugal?

Just the land, time, the harsh circumstances, thus became the new meals in our households

That's not true. Our music is from here not Africa. Our style of dress is from here not Africa. The way we talk is from here not Africa. Our art is from here not Africa. The sports that we play are from here not Africa. Our cinema and the stories we tell are from here not Africa.

Our roots are in Africa and African culture served as a foundation for everything we've created, but we've been here for centuries now. Our culture is our own and can't be credited to Africa in the way you're trying to do it.
