6th man of the year is an award thats always going to be geared towards offensive production and box score stats off the bench

He would be the most impactful player off the bench if he was on that list but its hard to quantify his production on a ballot because he doesnt put up the counting numbers

Oh I agree

It’s numbers and a tad bit record

He has the record but not the numbers despite the impact

That’s really why I say FOH when you bring him up

Like you, I know how impactful he is but when thinking about how the voting actually is, he would be around 4th or 5th

Unfortunately this is how its always going to be until the voters rewire their brains and stop just looking ppg off the bench as the main starting point for if someone should be considered

Mac was lowkey hooping on the Spurs and should've got some run in the finals

@#1hiphopjunki3 vehemently disagrees with me on this but if they played McGrady instead of Manu down the stretch the Spurs beat Miami in that game 6

I love Ginobili but he was tripping and turning the ball over like crazy
