ATL: Parents being charged for kids participating in teen takeovers.

Works in Baltimore it can work in Chicago.
It works in older communities. Baltimore has a lot of old communities. People who are really into their kids lives. Legacy high school kids. It's a whole culture.

Parents in Baltimore are really OD... There's definitely some slips they the cracks. This chick was on the news today saying the schools failed her kid cuz he was in the 12th with a .067 GPA, and was somehow in the middle of his class.

The comments were tearing her up, with most saying the school needs to be torn down, and she should be embarrassed.... But again, a LOTTA parents are on alumni committees and super heavy on their kids. I never even heard of the school.

But ultimately, it's definitely the parents. My kid, his friends, they ain't doing no shit like that. They all know way better.. That's their asses.

They all on honor roll principal list.

Why you hate single parents so much?

Credit where it's due, you didn't take the bait.

For a childless which means baby momma less nigga, you sure do have an odd vendetta against single moms

Surprised that you did though, I thought it was gonna be somebody else who fell for it.

I never said anything about single "mothers."

I only referred to single "parents."

You did though, so you must see the common denominator in all of these situations.

However, for some reason you don't want to acknowledge it.

Most of these incidents of unruly children stem from single parent households.

For the most part, the single parents are mothers.........not fathers.

Therefore, the lack of a father in the household is contributing to most of these problems because there's only so much that a single mother can do on her own.

More often than not, it takes 2 parents to properly raise a child.......not one.

And all the statistics show that single fathers are better single parents than single mothers.

Don't believe me, check the Brookings Institute or Pew Research center.

You might actually learn something.

Not that serious.

I don't think the parents are the problem.

I'm quite sure all these rogue children have some kind of father figure in the household.

These kids couldn't possibly be the product of single parent households.

:hahaha:
What!?!!!

That’s like saying it ain’t the parents fault their kid got to their firearm!

Well who’s fucking fault is that this lil mfer got ahold of the keys to a hellcat and wrapped the mfer around a family of 6?

I've been saying that parents should be liable for any wrongdoings until the kid is an adult. I was told as a child that I had until I was 12 before God held me 100% accountable for all my own sins. Prior to 12 your parents shared the burden because they are supposed to teach you. Today these kids are much older than 12 years old yet seem to have no sense of accountability. Worse is that the parents don't either.

I fully support more laws that hold parents accountable. Too many parents today believe their children's upbringing is the responsibility of everyone except them.

gotdayum the citys rec in phx closed at like 5-6 so i guess

edit edit....wait wait wait a muthafucking minute...didnt we ALL clap when those parents who kids shot up a school get charged??? so now we agasint the parents getting in trouble for the kids...must be two sides. and dont do that thats diff shit. stand on sidem either u with it or against

Exactly

Oprah there it is clip.gif

However, some people in here don't want to admit any of this.

They really act like there's not a difference between a 2 parent household and a single parent household.

Of course, there's always gonna be exceptions.........but too many people don't understand the difference between exceptions and norms.

Well, they probably understand it, but they don't want to accept it.

At the bolded, you made that up cause no one said that. Everyone pretty much said the parents need to be held accountable.

We thinking an after school program solving this?

This is an example of children with no parents. Either their parents are completely absent (dead, in jail, running the streets) or they are runaways that the parents no longer care for or have the energy to chase. This is also why the parents have to be liable for anything the kids do; you aren't going to let your kid run around like this if it means you also get locked up.
