if true.. I dont care if its a 6 year gap or not... he shoulda known and probably DID know back then that fuckin with a 16 year old minor as an adult at 22 years old aint a good look and is some perv shit
 
I’m conflicted, maybe because it feels normal coming from where I come from, but as an example - a college student being with a high school junior isn’t unheard of. It was… normal. At 16 I’d be at college parties trying to… mingle.

I feel there’s times when people try to use the current social and political climate to their advantage. Her experience is valid, but what was the reason behind it? What was the motivation? It could very well be her wanting to tell her story. There’s no statute of limitations on one’s conscience and the toll something like that can have on someone.

However, when you’re rolling it out into a book, it causes pause for thought and intention. Saying this happened a decade ago and it wouldn’t have the impact it does. However, now, it will cause significant backlash.

The thing I ask myself - if Mase and Shyne don’t speak on their relationships with Brandy, does this even unearth? Probably, because the book was already in play.

My response to this would be, if it’s unacceptable, why does law make it acceptable?

She was fucking on everybody but wanna call out the one nigga that was above the age of 18?

Why not call out the adults that put her in the situations to be exploited by the peers in her age group AND her gotdamn male contemporaries?
