It's not black and white. Every family dynamic is different. There are two parent households where the kid doesn't listen to neither parent.

Im just saying I've seen it work first hand. Maybe it needs to be in the hands of better people maybe the city is too far gone I don't know.

You once told me you were looking into moving to Toronto but I got bad news for you lol. The taxes here... here nigga. I dunno if thats what you want.

I mean let’s keep it real place like LA and Chicago with 60 years of established gang history(really Chicago git like 90 years) it’s gonna take a very long time or a massive investment to keep kids out the streets.

This is nt gang activity though it’s 14-17 year olds going around fucking up the vibes and ppls shit for no reason…

Even in the eras where ppl were getting to it u could still be comfortable moving around

Now u gotta factor this monkey shit before attending certain … they managed to mess up and shoot up a Christmas tree lighting for god sakes

I was at the rec center hooping, swimming, playing ping pong, working out, just chilling 3-4 nights a week. 5:30-9. When that one wasn't open we was at another rec catching runs, etc. I never went to any workshops or classes but they had a bunch of those too.

If you open it and have the right people staffed at it kids will come, and if they fuck with it and the staff they'll bring friends and so on and some of them might be better for it. There was still some bullshit that came with it obviously but there was worse shit we could have been doing.

Rec centers are as essential as hospitals, fire stations, schools and libraries to communities imo. If done right they benefit people of all ages and backgrounds.
