Is shooting someone unannounced as cowardly as the "sucker punch"?

Sometimes being the hero means saving the villain.

.. But it's so much dumb shit popping up, this can just sink if it doesn't rock, and I don't really gaf

But like a lotta shootings involve niggas getting walked down on, drive by, catching someone off guard.

Like that's a good shot.... You'll get kudos for getting a clean undetected shot off...

Is it a false equivalency to a "sucker punch?"

I mean the best punch is the one you don't see coming. And you really gotta close distance to get off a really good one. The risk is way higher.

Yet the sucker punch is frowned upon... Even if it's very clear that tension is in the air.

But the on sight walk down, banging off before they have the time to react is cool?

I mean, if we keeping it a buck..... The only fair shooting is a duel where you agree to the terms....take your paces, turn and pop

It's essentially squaring up.
Anything else gotta be a sucker shot.
Am I bugging?
Or am I cooking?

When shooting someone, the ideal situation is to not get caught by witnesses. So being stealth about it comes with benefits.

No, I wouldn't feel the same way about a punch. But what's that got to do with a shooting?
 
Imma say this, and I'm done for now..I might come back.

But I've definitely seen two niggas aggressively in each other's face, one just swing, and it's considered a sucker punch because they didn't officially square up.

Even if they legitimately felt threatened. I mean they're both being aggressive, how can you not.

I've watched MANY videos of a dude walking to to a guy with his hands out, and get shot dead in the chest, and the comments UNIVERSALLY call it a good shot. The guy was approaching, the shooter felt threatened.. Even though it was clear the person was unarmed... But they kept approaching.... Good shot.


But if I punch that same approaching person. Sucker punch?

Yeah. Pretty much any aggressive energy in my personal space means you want to fight. If you're just upset, keep your distance and/or voice down.

Oddly enough some people only want to fight in front of an audience. I remember in High School this guy kept talking down to me in class. It was becoming a little too regular, and he acted like he would kick my ass in class. I caught him by himself outside of class and offered to square up; he didn't want any action and stopped talking shit in class. It confused me because he was really talking alot in class. I had to hype myself down.

Some people would definitely call it a sucker punch.

For some reason if both dudes ain't 100% in stance and squared up, people will blatantly call any first punch thrown a sucker punch. So we're on the same page.

I was just tryna make sure everybody was seeing that way..
Basically, people call way to much shit a sucker punch. Once the energy there, it's in your best interest to be prepared. I'll never turn my back or take my focus off an active threat.

I watched a nigga get beat up once cuz he was rushed while taking his shirt off..... And they was like that was weak.... I'm like bitch.... Why you taking your shirt off.... Get to it. You gonna wait till a nigga grab his gun to up yours??
