Nah didn't he play in the playoffs a couple yrs ago? Or was that the year he got injured in the play in?
The pelicans have made the play in 2x

One year he had been hurt I think since AS

The next year, he got hurt in one of the final regular season games against the Lakers

So he hasn't played in either one due to injury

My only real gripe about Zion at this phase in his career is that he hasn't added anything to his bag

I don't need him to jack up 3s, but he still hasn't adjusted to everyone backing up giving him ground and him pulling straight up for a little tear drop jumper

I already know he doesn't feel as confident in that shot but it would do wonders for his production as well cause he's not risking injury trying to drive to the basket

Maybe Zion will be an Aaron Gordon for a better team
They definitely need a divorce. Pelicans should try to recoup whatever assets they can. He's peaked as a pelican and probably as a player. Zion is not gonna be the guy on a winning team.

It only seems to happen in the nba and its kinda wack.

I wouldn't say only, but it's definitely the most prominent with the NBA.

Somebody like Shaq shouldn't even be an analyst. Like 10% of what he offers is worthwhile analysis, and the other 90% is him hating, patting himself on the back, or saying dumb shit.

Casual prefer the personality Shaq and those guys bring over the analysis and breakdown of the game. It's sad but I get it. I just wish they would focus on the game and trash the players and refs less.

Yeah, I forgot who, but somebody described Inside the NBA as a Basketball themed comedy show. That's what it is, and it's legitimately good in that vein.

I agree with your point about trashing the players. Gotta disagree on the refs though. Reffing in the in NBA is egregious now. I know that's not all on the refs because NBA execs are probably giving them the go ahead to do what they do (or don't do), but still...

It is but trashing them won't fix anything. Refs in every league fuck up. It will never be perfect. No point creating a bad perception. Thats why they had to get rid of jvg and mark Jackson. Whole abc/ESPN broadcast became commentary about the refs.

We shouldn't know who the refs are. Niggas don't know umpires, hockey refs or soccer refs.

You right. Trashing the refs won't solve the problems. I ain't gonna lie. It is jarring seeing a dude take five steps right in front of a ref with no call, but that's what makes me think the problem isn't really on the refs. It's an NBA thing.
