They've been in WM since the lead up to RR. Moreso now since they 3 weeks out. So they gonna milk as much money as they can to to get even more eyes on WM.

I mean they still got 3 weeks. Melo has a case to match this a triple threat at Mania. Doubt it'll happen tho.

All I know is they going about it weird as fuck. Not letting Trick talk on commentary. Having Trick interfere when clearly niggas wanna cheer for him and boo Sami. If they let Trick talk his shit and Sami went full heel and won the title that way I can understand that maybe. Just the way they going about things I feel like they don’t do this for “other” wrestlers who are on their way up.

I think they do see dollar signs with Trick, but I know things easily can go left for him.

It's WM man. Their story/feud ain't compelling enough to not have something on the line. Gotta give folks a reason to care.

I mean people had already had it in their minds that Trick/Sami was gonna happen. Sami possibly turning and snapping on folks seemed like it was the hook. It probably still will happen, but like I said the US title wasn’t necessary to tell that story.
 
Hopefully Melo land somewhere on the card

the thing is the Sami/Trick program is hotter than what they were doing with him and ilja so i get why they did it + niggas wanted a US title feud and now we instantly have one thats not dragging and not going anywhere. I wanted a actual feud between ilja and Melo but it wont taking off

now Sami & trick have stakes for their feud and if/when trick beats Sami he'll be a champion, so he will be benefiting from it

the only thing im questioning now that hes dropped the strap is where Melo goes from here

I see both sides of it. At the end of the day...its about puttin talents on the card that's gonna bring in the bigger draw...getting fans heavily invested...ON THE BIGGEST STAGE. That's it.

Unfortunately the way it looks now...Melo gonna be the odd man out. They got 3 weeks. So this shyt could turn into a triple threat. Or by by the way Tama been lurkin...a Fatal 4-way.

We'll how the next 3 weeks go.

Why would TKO care about the US title bro????
Yall are trying to rationalize some shit that makes no sense when the fans were already invested in Trick / Sami before the US title was thrown into the mix.

So I need to understand why TKO would all of a sudden care about a title that had zero burn up until Melo won it.

They did Melo and Ilja no favors with those weak ass backstage back and forth’s. They had nothing for these dudes to do but wrestle.

They separated Melo and Iija presumably to do the match we got last week, at Mania.

The problem is they had no plan on how to occupy Melo and Iija along the way. They didnt even come up with filler programs.

They failed to build a story and make it stretch long enough til Mania

Melo and Drag SHOULD'VE been the slaptastic azzz match for WM. But they went to that well one too many times. So they gotta give that shyt an extended downtime period b4 they revisit that again.
