Bomani Jones and Jason Goff did a good job breaking it down. Certain folks no longer admire Hov's way of doing things in this post world shutting down era. It's not cool to have that much wealth when they're so bad off and on the flip side, For Hov, see it as some folks switching up because this is why they liked him in the first place.

It is dishonest or disheartening for some for him to say he's realistic and not idealistic in times like these and given who he is. At the same time, he's almost 60 and feels he's done more than enough in rap and beyond our knowledge that we don't see for niggas to not think of him as an evil capitalists.
