People will react that way to any major platform being stripped away from them. Especially if they're earning a living off said platform.

Tiktok being the data stealing boogeyman is always funny to me. They are all tracking, using, selling, stealing data from you. I have friends that refuse to use tiktok but still use ig, fb, X like they are moving differently. Cause China.

The funny thing is these western owned countries are far more likely to use your data to screw you over. What does China care about the data of an average joe in the U.S. or Canada?

Yeah I tried to break the news to 2 of my friends always missing out on context in the group chat cause they won't open tiktoks that china doesn't give a shit about them but they weren't going lol. One of them then tried to say his phone didn't have room lol.

I didn't say the others aren't though. You can check the app store to compare them all
 
I don't give a shit about stealing data, but Tiktok runs entirely too slow. The videos take long to load, it sucks on a PC. And it's just that app. The exact same video call be on IG FB X even that blusky shit... And it doesn't run slow as Tiktok.

And downloading the app doesn't help. And I'm not changing my entire phone plan for one app, I don't care how many jokes y'all got. I'd rather pay 110 a month for all 3 phones then to upgrade everything and sign contacts for one goofy ass app when the same video call be posted on other platforms as well

Know how when you eat healthy or you start to exercise a lot. When you do the opposite from time to time. You really get to fully experience the bad side of it.

Like eating fried food when you stop, or taking time away from exercise for a while. You get to experience full on the affect of those things on your mind and body.

Say that to say, I actively stop listening to rap. Only to try to dive back in or work out. Shit leaves you feeling horrible. The messaging, the horrible takes, the things rappers choose to focus on, the narratives, the childish point of view in life.

As an adult, it leaves you feeling sick, and I wonder. Just how much of this shit had an unknown affect on me when I really indulged.
