I was big advocate of the Raptors drafting Derik Queen, but when they didn't, and Raynaud fell, I was really hoping that they would draft him with their second round pick.

I'm still mad they didn't take them, but for some reason the Raynaud snub hurts me way more. I don't know if it because of who they drafted instead.

I wasn't an advocate of firing Ujiri, but his drafting had become awful.

Then we lost poetl for a few months and right when he got healthy cmb re-injured his thumb and has been out a few weeks now.

So yeah were just lacking shooting efficiency and toughness/rebounding in the paint.

Barnes amazing defense has kept us whole this season but we're losing minutes whenever he comes off the floor. Starting to see signs of him burning out.

That makes sense, yall are bottom 5 in shooting and bottom 6 in rebounding which would be the deciding factor in a lot of close games but like you said that can be attributed to a combination of injuries and guys not taking a leap in their development


All in all I would feel very encouraged and pleased with what Ive seen if I was a Raptors fans, Barnes really has been phenomenal on defense guarding 1-5 at a high level......I don't think he's actually been talked about enough. Im interested to see what the next move for yall is to put yourselves in that next tier of eastern conference teams, yall arent far at all imo


Not trading for Sabonis alone made this season a success though


Just don't do it in the summer

Also Embiid is a huge disappointment as far as being an all time great

However despite being disappointing and NEVER playing, he’s still had a career most would dream of

Individually atleast

As far as doing anything of worth as far as team success? Loser

Nah I sent my Poeltl apology form in last night. We're good. Just need to get him a proper back up this summer. Slide mamu to the 4 and slide cmb to the 3 and get a couple shooters.
