2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

I'ma be honest, I think if Bam's trajectory ended up with him being the main guy Miami could've built around, this might have been something but it's just ehhh

I think he made the same amount of 3s Kobe did shooting almost twice as many but the disgusting part of it for me was the fouling by Miami to get extra possessions

What does him being a main guy have to do with anything?

10 years from now when a new generation watching basketball, they will still be talking about Kobe, black mamba, etc...

They gonna be like "how did Bam get 83 points in a game" cause nobody outside of Sam Mitchell and South Beach gonna give a shit

If it was Wade, they would still be talking about it

lol nigga shut up

The biggest take away from the Bam game is just how not impactful it is.

When Kobe got 81, it was a player we were excited to see play on offense and he was in his prime and clearly on his way to being one of the goats. Shit was like a stamp on his greatness.

With Bam, it's like so what? There's a good chanc he never gets 50 again let alone 60+. And it's not like the Heat are gonna do anything this season or any season anytime soon.

Its the least anyone has ever cared about such a record being scored.

You said what I was trying to say in a more succinct way

It’s okay man I’m sure another star will score 84 to make things okay

give it one week I’m sure it’ll happen

The starting C playing with multiple starters out amassing 83 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks in a win that shot

46% FG
31% 3PT
83% FT

Is not a bad game

Stop it bro
Thats a bad game when you took 43 shots to score 83 and 36 of those points were from free throws. That means he took 43 shots to score 47 points. Thats not good basketball.

You're choosing not to understand.

Whatever.

If he actually went off it would be remembered. Thats not what happened tho. He wasn't lights out, he didn't out skill anyone, it wasn't a display of dominance, he just shot more than everyone else. 🤷🏿‍♂️
