They released him when he got injured so they could fill the roster spot. Then he was in recovery through free agency so he was just in no mans land until Milwaukee had a roster spot available.

I think it's on Giannis. He quit on those niggas and morale is on the floor. They have nothing to play for and they need to get him out of the way and start the rebuilding process. Even if they keep him and try to improve the roster he'll always have his foot in the door and players aren't gonna commit to giving 100% for that. The veil has been lifted on that situation. It's over.

That said once giannis is gone they might as well get rid of doc and find a coach for the rebuild. I don't think another coach could get that much more out of that group.

I think they will be fine at least in the Eastern conference especially if Embiid isnt himself
