2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

I think Mitchell is more like KD.....put him on any team and he'll score the ball but he doesn’t necessarily make anyone better, plus hes a small guard....just saw him and Garland have issues so its not like you can just put him anywhere and not worry about certain fit issues

Harden has this rare and uncanny playmaking and vision that allow him to control the pace and elevate teammates so whenever he said "I am the system" people laughed but he wasnt lying
Nah, I'm not saying he will make teams better, but I think, like KD his skillset will be of value in the future, and imo he will be a wanted merchant. My vision of the future is bucket getters will be a valued commodity due to the rise in defense, due to Silver meddling with the rules. I can see it.

This was an awful game for both teams

The one positive I liked was seeing Murray steady the offense being the primary ball handler

He was expectedly rusty but he really looks like he hasn't lost a step. He was tenacious on defense.

Jordan needs to anchor the first team even when Yves comes back.

Mcgowens had a great game despite not playing the entire first half

Some team with cap space is going to eventually overpay for Moody

Oh ok my bad gotcha, I can definitely see Mitchell going the mercenary route as well

That probably is the future for a lot of bucket getters especially the smaller ones....the league is getting bigger and more versatile. If you aren't providing value in other areas besides scoring I think teams might see that as a bit expendable....to an extent. Teams still need guys who are efficient 3 level scorers and that can create/drive offense in the halfcourt and late in games

Just got the annual rules survey for high school basketball

The NBA is slowly infiltrating. I'm not mad at the proposals but it's going to take a season or two for a ton of officials to adjust

I was really really high when I posted my shitty takes last night. lol I agree with ya, I just don't know why I said it.

Yall gotta fix this.

Oh that was a blatant travel lol

An interesting observation last night. There were 4 travels called due to changing the pivot foot or taking an extra step

Silver may have made the call. Gonna be interesting to see how this is done across the league the rest of the season

I can't wait until podz is out of the league. Pure definition of being born on 3rd but acts like he hit a triple. He was traveling something crazy changing his pivot. They got him twice I think but it's so bad cause you can probably call it on him every time he brings the ball to a stop
