He’s lucky he’s so heavy and strong or he would average 4 less points than he does

A lot of his buckets near the rim is just from being strong enough for that shitty shot to go in

Its soooo unfortunate

I hate the trajectory hes on and the discourse surrounding him

The only positive thing to hang on to is he hoops in the playoffs.....if you pull up those numbers he elevates and his efficiency actually goes up with the usage which is very encouraging and shouldn't be completely ignored imo

But other than it hasn't been great recently

The thing about that trade will always be the process behind


If Nico wanted to trade Luka I actually have/had no problem with that.....but you cant only talk to two teams, one seriously and end up with AD, Max Christie and a first while Bane, Gobert and Bridges getting these insane packages


Nico could've actually looked like a genius if he had played his cards right and handled this like a competent GM

Sucks for Magic fans that Paulo been a big disappointment. His numbers dont even tell the whole story. Mans like 70% of why Orlando are where they at. And all this before that extension kicks in

Yeah he’s actually great in the playoffs it KINDA redeems him a bit but when you don’t have a high playoff ceiling

I kinda don’t care

He went about the trade like a dumb ass though and deserved to get fired.

Ehh idk about that, just saying I dont care about how you show up in the playoffs

I watched those games and Paolo literally has to do everything and was doing it efficiently at a higher level...but for whatever it hasn't translated to the regular season the same way

If Franz was even just decent they definitely would've beat the Cavs two years ago in the playoffs

The ball is going to move more and its easier to build an offense with Franz as your best player but I think it goes too far everyone shitting on Paolo and acting like Franz doesn't have anything to prove also

Idk if they just dont compliment each other or if they just need a better coach/offensive system that can utilize their skillsets and let them play off each other better.....but I am leaning more toward them needing to be broken up, they're the anti Tatum/Brown

well I’m speaking on Franz in the sense because I think the Magic are a better team numbers wise with Franz on and paolo off (didn’t verify that though)

But yes if Franz pulled his weight before they do win that series

I know in the past it was unfair to paolo due to lack of scoring options but since the playoffs didn’t come yet this year and I’m only going by reg season I think paolo has barely improved overall from 2 years ago

I know mosely isn’t helping and the constant injuries to the team aren’t helping as well so again it’s not entirely his fault

But that don’t mean you can be bad around the rim and shoot bad inefficient mid range shots

I agree, Paolo hasn't developed and has been the same player he was when drafted

At this point he's an inefficient black hole offensively and the teams offense flows better without him

I think for Orlando, as much as this was a disappointing season I would be looking at it from this approach.....it is what is, season is almost over...lets go into the playoffs and with the only goal being evaluation for the summer and really look to make significant changes

If its coaching so be it.....if its roster construction make changes.

Mosely, Paolo and Wendell should be the main focus
