How was it with the waymo? Saw them in Vegas like a year or so ago think they were still testing them out then.
Waymo pretty cool.
- Ride was smooth.
-You can ride in the passenger seat or in the back.
-The door handles only comes out when you unlock the door from the app.
-My wife sat in the back and it wouldn’t drive off til she put her seatbelt on
-ride was more expensive than a uber and it doesn’t stop in front of the destination if it’s on a busy street
-Only annoying thing was somebody pulled up mad close to the car and it wouldn’t drive off until it was clear

Was in Chicago over the weekend. It was my boy's bday. We met up with a mutual friend who lives in the chi. Beautiful architecture. We got lucky that it was warm. Saturday was a bit cold at night, but it was still above 30deg. I enjoyed my stay.

Did you run into any delays? There are some airports getting hit hard with long lines. Some due to spring break travel, a lot for the partial gov shutdown. My flight was delayed twice going to Chicago. All flights there were delayed. First time I ever had to use my insurance. It actually back fired. My insurance hit me up and said I was eligible for a flight change for free with any airline. I did that to get a flight that was like 30mins from my depart time. Only to find out that was delayed as well and would leave a little later than my orginal flight.

Not even one, in fact every single flight took off on time and landed early. I took a total of 5 planes in 24 hours; 3 to get there, 2 to get back.

Chicago in the summer is an amazing place. I've been plenty times and never once ran into any bullshit

Hmmm, I might have to check it out. I was supposed to take the wife to the N.O. this year for a weekend trip. We might squeeze in Chicago at some point too. It's gotta be when it's warm though. I ain't messing with that Chi-town cold.

As somebody who hates winter with a passion i don't even mind it for a weekend. I was there last month and still enjoyed myself

Is Chicago actually worth visiting? I mean for like a fun weekend getaway with the wife when it's warm. It's a big city, so one would think so, but all I ever hear about it the shootings.

It's pretty much like Detroit: Stay downtown and you're likely to remain safe. Venture out without someone from the city at your own risk.

That said, I haven't been to Chicago since '03, and I stayed downtown the whole time I was there.

It’s pretty much like that in every city.

I was in Philly on a work trip with two older white women. Decided to walk to the famous cheesesteak places. Me being the only one with black radar was on high alert the whole walk. Little did they know if the bullshit went down I’m only trying to de-escalate. I wasn’t about to defend them if shit went south for real. Especially if they got on their Karen bullshit.

I had a blast. There is a lot of history there. I didnt have an unsafe time. I was in downtown the whole time. At the Riu hotel. That area looks to be upper class. We shared the same block with Burberry, Givenchy and other expensive stores.
