The rate at which robotics and AI are improving combined with the fact that we're doing absolutely nothing as a society to prepare for a time when they can do everything better than most people definitely means we're cooked.

That says, this makes you really appreciate how well engineered the human body is. People act like believing in God is ridiculous. Me personally, I think it's a lot less ridiculous than believing that a bunch of random processes have somehow worked out over millions of years to create beings like out essentially out of nothing. I mean we're intelligent being capable of a lot and look how much work it's taking for us to create something that is kinda sorta as capable as us.
