2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

I kinda get where you're coming from, but I don't see how you can say that the MJ/Nique Battles or Vince's showcases weren't entertaining even as an adult.
I was a teen during MJ/Nique, so hell yeah, that was entertaining, but for me, about the time Vince came around, I had grown out of it. Vince, if you remember, is the guy who they say saved the contest. So the contest was already falling off.

Hey, I'm just speaking from my POV. I'm just not impressed with self lobs, jumping over celebs, and Eastbay dunks anymore or professional shooters shooting fast. Yall can keep this all-inclusive fun festival, just give me the East vs West game.

I don't know bro. I was in college when Vince competed and that was like the only thing from the whole weekend we watched. It was hype.

I'm not knocking you from growing out of it. I just don't think it's an age thing. I used to love the dunk contest and didn't care about the 3-pt contest. Now I like the 3-pt contest and don't really care about the dunk contest. I haven't watched an actual All Star game in years though, not since Kobe played.

I know a simple remedy to allstar weekend and idk why I didn’t think of it before

Just condense it to:

Friday is an all star dinner where they have live entertainment like a musical performance (this is for every participant) *not televised but media availability will be*

Saturday is celeb game and then 3pt contest and then rookie/sophomore game

Sunday is legends brunch and all star game

I think they did
Nah, they couldn't have. LMAO.

Have you seen the stuff those dudes can do. The shit these guys did last night is warm up dunks for them.

If the dunk league dudes did work with them, they purposely didn't give them any good dunk ideas. that's for damn sure. lol

Nothing wrong with the weekend other than the dunk contest and the players not caring about the actual all star game. I really don't know how you fix those.

Didn't watch a single moment but saw highlights.

I'm not sure when it's gonna happen but watch they start a 2k tournament or something.

The dunk contest was beyond pitiful
I made a thread 2-3 years ago about a 1 on 1 tournament at the ASG

Unrivaled stole my idea and are doing numbers w it

Most ppl I know were watching that last night instead of the ASG fuckery
