I think the fact that he has actually been releasing music since he first started teasing The Fall Off as an album is what saved this from becoming too over hyped. If he had gone 10-ish years not releasing music but talking about "The Fall Off coming" like Dre with Detox then this would've been a harder pill to swallow.
 
I only got 2 listens so far. I think its a good album. I love the concept. Just more of Cole being Cole. I think run a train might be my favorite song that I can remember well.
 
Nothings bad but nothing captures you either.

I preordered the vinyl but I'm seriously contemplating giving it away for the free-ski when it gets here.

If Cole wouldn't have pulled a Roberto Duran this album would've been considered the next best thing. Yet Cole B Rabbitted himself on purpose mind you and put a asterisk on his career.

The album isn't bad at all and actually besides a about 3-4 duds out of 24 songs this is pretty damn good but like I said people like myself not letting that ho shit slide.

4/5 rating off first listen in my office

3.5/5 after riding around the city today
 
Whole 2 disc album and niggas still gotta talk about drake. 😩
 
Anyway I liked the 2nd disc better than the 1st. Not a ton of replay value but it was pretty solid to me. 🤷🏿‍♂️
