2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

You’re trolling me for 2 pages over this lol. I’m aware that Ja’s value is low, but they are in the right to request something more of value. Heat said no. So everyone moves on. This wasn’t worth all this lol.

Why are they in the right to request more in value when hes on whats perceived around the league to be a negative value contract?

He hasn't played 7 consecutive games in like 3 or 4 years

Off the court issues

Game hasn't evolved and the league is moving past these small scoring guards

If this wasn't the case Memphis wouldn't be trying to trade him

The only positive about this poor excuse of a performance is Jabari is having a good game

I can't believe Finney Smith is still on this team smh

Adding onto this is he’s having the worst year of his career, hasn’t been an allstar in 3 years, and he wasn’t even worth enough to get traded

My knick friends are blowing up the group chat and tagging me sayin "Knicks should sign Cam Thomas"

If Memphis didn't like the offers thats fine, if they think they can rehabilitate his value and try again in the summer thats understandable and their prerogative.......but teams were always going to feel like they were the ones doing Memphis a favor by taking Ja of their hands

Wizards deals with the Hawks almost fell apart because both teams thought they should be getting a pick back...they settled on neutral value

Because they are rebuilding and want assets and building blocks for a star player. It’s worth more to keep him than to give him away just to watch him rehabilitate his career somewhere else, plus Ja has said he wants to stay. So if he plays well and stays relatively healthy you can get a better deal next time, or he buys in and fits into what they’re doing. But simply giving him away in a shitty deal makes no sense.

Idk if I've ever seen a fanbase turn on a front office like the Rockets fan have with Stone lol

The confusion and disappointment is warranted though tbh

What's the point of trading for KD if you're ok with slow playing it and ok with the thought of it "just not being our year"......Could've just held on to what we had if growth and development are still a priority

“We good in the west.”

Look at our upcoming schedule and then look at where are in the standings

This team is pretty close to giving up....the lack of effort is astonishing

I knew this team would lose a bit of its edge with no Dillon and then Fred going down was another to blow to our on court intensity......but I still would've never thought that an Ime Udoka coached team wouldn't play hard

Ive said before to though the coaching staff has to be held accountable as well too because Ime has been simply outcoached multiple times this season

Its funny to hear Stone talk about growth and development but Udoka been bullshitting with Reed Sheppards minutes and role in the rotation all season
