2026: Back to the randomness

I love how I have to sit in a meeting every Tuesday with a bunch of people on the team for one of my projects and hear the group leader talk about how the team is behind and we don't know why. Then spend the rest of the week seeing all of them spend hours each day yapping about nothing on the office instant messenger.

Lmao that’s corporate America for you
Motherfuckers moving like they in high school spending all day fraternizing instead of working

I ain’t gonna lie once I got the wfh job it made me much lazier. I probably have to get strong message in teams not to drag my feet.

But probably the importance level of the job too. Like Monk you work for the department of defense or something right?

Absolutely love the remote life. Put some music on and do work until you need to into a meeting

Sort of. I work for a research center that supports several government entities. I work projects in support of DoD and DHS.

Another round of layoffs at the university/research institute where I work. That's like 5 in the last 12 months.

Meanwhile, one of the lead researchers is a professor who has encouraged me to apply for a PhD program and even offered to serve as a member of my doctoral committee.

I'm confused about where my career is going lol

lol @ Melo on his podcast doing a commercial for Rose Sparks (the ED pill) and making sure to start the commercial off by saying he's not a user.
There’s a strange growth in the quantity of dick pills lately. At the same time, there’s a dramatic decrease in advertisements for antacids.

Was the TV series 24 good? I don't think I've ever seen one episode of it. Now I think about same goes for Boardwalk Empire
Lol

I rewatched it a few years ago. Man CTU HR needs to be fired lol. That's all I'ma say but keep this in mind, it's called 24 because everything happens in the course of a day. So each episode is an HR of that day. (24 eps a season) You have to suspend disbelief to enjoy it but it was top notch programming during it's prime

Never watched 24 because at the time something else was on when it was. It gets praised a lot though

I started rewatching Boardwalk Empire but then paused because I was watching too many shows. I'll probably pick it up again later
