2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Added to Calendar: 10-21-25

Am I the only one that thinks James Harden didn't increase the Cavs ceiling?

Maybe its just cause its the Cavs and I have to see it to believe it from them after the last few seasons.

Imo though, unless Allen and Mobley learned to play through physical play in the playoffs, they the same team. Especially when James gonna go 3/21 in crucial playoff games.

I think he has to just simply because he's better and more durable than Garland

Every year Mitchell has to assume primary ball handler duties and be the primary scorer which causes him to breakdown in the playoffs.......Harden ends up having to assume primary scorer responsibilities which as we know doesnt end well either

Harden is going to drastically change their style of play.....people underestimate that yes Harden wants to be on the ball a lot but he truly wants to be a distributor and table setter more than some dominant on ball scorer Iike Luka

Also something else not to sleep on that I think is very important.....think about how Jimmy Butler made the Warriors offense better by being someone who draws fouls and gets to the freethrow line.......the past 3 seasons Garland has gotten taken 3 fta per game every year.....Harden is at almost at 9 attempts per game this year lol

Its fascinating to see the different approaches taken by Charlotte and Washington

Hornets have been very slow and meticulous with their descion making regarding the process since the regime change

Wizards much more aggressive and lacking patience

The Wizards new FO team said they were aiming for a quick turnaround and not a 5 year drag where you wait and see.

Hope this doesnt mean Toronto more likely to get Sabonis now smh

Expecting a by the margins move to get under the tax. I don't think anything is gonna happen with sabonis unless the kings are willing to take on poetl.

All this is predicated on the assumption that AD can stay healthy and I’m not sure if he can anymore.

Thankfully we still got our first round pick.
