2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

Who are the untouchables to you?

I'm still really high on the goon, but not as much as I was last year. That said, you really can't update at that position. Hes really good and you're not gonna get a better big than him, even with his flaws and flops.

Amen to me was super untouchable, but now idk man. Hes starting to look more and more scared to shoot. The first 10-15 games I was like yea he's turning the corner. But the last 10-15 games, I would be upset if they trade him but I would understand.

@southsil4lil you can answer too my bro

Goon been hurt but he been slippin especially with his attitude in game at times.

Amen a dawg but the shooting is a problem. The clip from the spurs game had me disgusted Ngl lol.

I’m not attached to any of em at this point. The closest one would be Amen but depending on the return I’ll get over it.

Like you said I don’t think they’ll do anything big until the summer

I dont think we should just punt on this season....KD is too good and old to do that

With that being said I dont think we should do anything drastic either regarding blowing up the roster or cashing in assets

The problem we have right now is we dont have a lot mid draft picks to just send out....our future picks from teams are premium type picks so we're not giving up a first round pick for a center or something like that just to do it

Would love to clarification on if Sengun is hurt or just playing like shit and Amens nonshooting was always going to be an issue but I truly believe it can be mitigated and they can play together if you have adequate shooting around them

Were a few days away from the deadline we actually need quite a bit

Another center
point guard
shooting

Id prefer we focus on the latter two....I think we can get by with Jabari playing some back up 5 minutes along with Capela

This reads as if there is a bunch of bitches in the locker room. lol

As talented as the Cavs are the perception of them around the league is that they're soft and can be bullied

Lack of toughness and perimeter defense have been their two biggest issues

Def agree. I think you don't make any big changes this deadline.

My overall point is that sengun and amen not as untouchable in my mind as they were coming into the season.

That said, you really can't improve at center. You have to keep hoping sengun takes the final step up and finds his consistency.

With Amen, this might be who he is. A better defending and more athletic Josh Hart. Which is good. Josh Hart is annoying to watch sometimes but he makes the team a ton better when he's out there. Amen looks like hes gonna be that, which is disappointing for me cause I had higher hopes.

Rockets still like a top 6-7 team in the league.

We just talking about ideal situations, not on some this team sucks and needs changes.

I agree…that doesn’t mean you break up a nucleus of players who’s average age is 26.

I’m just flexing facts. Regardless of who’s the wealthiest, Dan Gilbert has shown that he doesn’t mind spending money….so why should I lol

I agree with every single thing you said and I think organizationally its easier to make the big decisions after another postseason to collect data

We go out sad in the first round and Sengun isnt as effective or Amens lack of shooting is too much to overcome you have to start be more willing to pivot and make tough choices about who want to keep

I really think both of them would be better if we had more structure on offense and we had better spacing but have to work with what we have right now

Like @BIG BODY HUSTLE said its the front office time to shine this week so we'll see what the mindset is and what the direction looks like rest of the season

If Cleveland goes out in the 1st or 2nd round you would be ok bringing back your core 4 players and essentially running it back again?

If Im Orlando I want to start with moving on from Mosely and upgrading from Wendell Carter at center....I like Dell but he cant be your starting center if you want to be a serious basketball team

If that doesnt work than I think you have to really start having conversations about the Paolo/Franz fit long term

I can understand the arguments for both as far as who is the better player
