Kinda related, but has anyone here from down south ever travelled up north (VA and up) for whatever reason and tried Popeyes up here?

Only asking because I've heard people from the south hype up Popeyes, but I've never been impressed with their chicken at all.


I'm thinking it must be some kind of disconnect between the way they cook it in the south and the way they cook it in the northern states.


I noticed the same thing about Zaxbys.

The Zaxbys up here is decent, but nowhere near as good as the Zaxbys in SC.

Good question, I haven’t had Popeyes since I moved up this way, I will have to give it a try and compare.
