Snoop IS culturally bigger than Jay z and that's where it stops

That's not to shit on Jay by any means but as others have mentioned, this mysterious Jay that we've been getting ain't resonating with the current generation and that's ok

That's like getting upset your lil cousin doesn't have biggie or pac in their top 5. They don't know them outside of stories and articles.

Jay is still the better rapper and has a better catalog of projects over Snoop but when he decided to cosplay as basquiat, he made a conscious decision he was above these types of barbershop conversations

Michael Jackson was barely seen.. most famous mf on earth. Weeknd is barely seen, Beyonce barely seen, etc. Most mega stars are barely seen.

There's no metric where Snoop is more famous than Jay-Z, I've listed at least 5 for Jay.
