Outside of this incident and the reporting on it multiple times a day, this shit has pretty much been business as usual.

Nah. There's a clear difference in things and thats why there's a difference in response as well. Also you just contradicted yourself. You can't agree that things have escalated but also say it's business as usual. In this instance it's one or the other.

Around a dozen u.s. citizens were killed by border patrol under Obama. When u include non citizens it's at least over 100 but the total tally which is over 300 includes up to 2017 when Trump began his first term. That's only confirmed cases. No officers were held accountable bc the policies in place then are the same today. And the only reason we don't know of any others is Obama's intentional lack of transparency that the ACLU has been pushing for to no avail.

No one is saying it's okay now bc it happened back then.

Well, Biden deported more people than Trump while simultaneously allowing more people to cross the border unchecked. Two things can absolutely be true.

And, aside from the one chick that got shot, it is business as usual.

People are gonna "vote for anyone that's not trump" and when they win, the policies will stay in place and everyone will go back to sleep and suddenly won't care about this anymore.

The problem is we keep voting for the same politicians.

The first step is acknowledging the shit truthfully and making people aware that these three were pieces of shit when it comes to immigration enforcement.

Don't get me wrong, if you're here illegally you gotta go and come back the right way. But the government has to enforce that the right way.

I really don't think anyone is aware of just how lax we've been to allow as many people here illegally as we've been, even under the last three administrations. Even overstaying a tourist visa can land you a prison term, fines, and expulsion from a country for years or lifetime bans in many countries and a lot of them are far more strict than we are.

There was reporting on it on mainstream outlets. People don't care bc they look thru a partisan lens. They'll care when the other team does it and that's it. And if ppl missed this stories back then before mainstream media was on life support imagine what these algorithms are doing to people.

I'd vote 3rd party but many of u say it's pointless or a vote for trump, and also both parties actively sabotage 3rd party candidacies.

What's ironic is u guys voted for these policies and are now crying about it.
