I’m not mad at it. At its core it’s on par with the original mission of the BPP.

I do think immigrants should do the heavy lifting. Same time, the tone of those saying we should sit out, that it ain’t our fight like they don’t / won’t fuck with us.

Last time that I checked, they didn’t say sorry the black “FBA” family that they threw tear gas into the car stopping a a baby from breathing.
 
it's really not the immigrants fault that they were allowed in, but what is on them is their status which they were well aware of.
the systems they clocked in on, which should've set off alarms, were made lacks. empathizing, sympathizing, where time and favoritism allowed many of them into pertinent job positions which made unfair allowances going against standing law, undercutting actual citizens.
Los Angeles is overwhelmed. it's primarily Mexican dominance everywhere you look. construction, dental, car dealership, department store, real estate, supermarkets, restaurants, fast food, car wash, medical, insurance, hotels, custodial, automotive, tax prep, everything i didn't think of, they're there.
and the favoritism is rampant: "post no bills" but there are sidewalk restaurants (food handling permits?), parking at fire hydrants or in the red, at corners, overnight double parking and no ticketing...man, i was standing in line at a Smart and Final market and this guy pulls out 6-7 EBT cards for his huge purchase. Mexican cashier didn't even alert the store management (Mexican), like, that wasn't suspicious???
i could go on, but that's a good enough picture. America, while it was thieving, shot themselves in the foot and now there's a cleanup on aisle Cinco de Mayo. politicians wanna play that "they pay taxes" game for the continuation, but the streets are full of potholes and trash. it can be perceived as harsh because of the time within they turned a blind eye on immigration. it's hard because Americans made many acquaintances and family with of these illegal immigrants, but its a hard situation that has to be confronted and ended because it is depleting resources.
it's just crazy! that a car can't be blocking the sidewalk but it's ok for a full restaurant???
what ice had been deployed to do, while cruel, it has to be done. you'd think laws are there for a reason,

ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLW BUT ITS THE WRONG FIGHT BECAUSE OF CAUSATION.

Black Americans need to stop thinking that y'all can sit anything out. Because y'all are a central preoccupation of the conservative movement in America, even about matters that ostensibly have nothing to do with race, or something to do with race, but some other race. This comes through when you study history. So pretty much everything concerns y'all.

(This doesn't mean that this particular way of responding to the ICE crisis is a good idea though.)

i almost understand where you're coming from, but this particular instance doesn't count simply because we see law that has been broken and the masses of people trying to get away with breaking it. Panthers came about because white establishment unfairly imposed their will, coupled with violence and death upon colored society. immigrants came, settled in and with numbers they became empowered because nobody stressed the concern for legalization. it's been a bad look how it's being taken care of, but seriously, how else can it be done? America did this to themselves as well as immigrant did it to themselves by not taking care of their legalization business. they bombarded and overwhelmed all the assistance programs.
those guys claiming BP in the vid are muddying up the legacy
 
Also, the fight can be fought on several fronts

You gotta have niggas that are trained in fire arms as well as some tactical strategies to ensure a higher likelihood of survival being on the front line

You gotta have niggas who gonna finance the mission as well. Getting lawyers and bail money on deck to bail people out arrested on bullshit charges

You gotta have niggas who gonna organize the vision as well

Also these black people who are arming up and mobilizing, aren't your run of the mill black folks minding their business, and jumping in as if it's an obligation.

These are the people looking for a reason. People who are always been looking for a reason. They want to be on the front lines, and will use any excuse to jump out there. And this is a golden opportunity.

Too be fair, most of the Black officers were probably already working there before ICE upped the ante on its BS. I haven't seen them involved in any of the egregious ish (e.g., cuffing half naked kids and throwing them in U-Haul trucks after midnight).
