You kinda saved yourself with the attempts thing but why are you worried about 3pt attempts right now when you are 9-33?

But Wiggins is shooting 39% from 3 on 4.7 attempts

Ware is shooting 42% on 2.8 attempts

Murphy gone allows you to play with a lineup of

Fears
Wiggins (can cover for Zion a bit)
Zion
Queen
Ware (can cover for Queen)

You have a set frontcourt of the future with Queen/Ware/Missi and if Wiggins will be expiring next season

Not to mention a pick or two

just cause i aint flooding the thread with trade proposals dont mean i dont have a respectable opinion

had you lead with this, i probably still respond the way that I do, but i now have a better understanding of your proposal

Why would I lead with this?

You don’t know Wiggins and ware can shoot from three and you don’t know what your team could be like if they were on it?

I'll say this, you were right a couple years ago when you said the pelicans should've traded Zion and build around Trey.

I, like many people were hoping to get a full ish season of BI, Trey and Zion together.

Come to find out Griffin actually wanted to trade Zion but couldn't do aaarrggghh.

In other words, add Zion to that package, remove Trey and let's see what kinda stew we can cook

I told chitown not to wait on lavine/Derozan too and he ain’t listen

Quick tell me who the bulls got back for Lavine and/or Derozan lol

But back to you, think of Zion and Trey as your version of Bam and Herro with bam being Trey and Zion being Herro

Now tell me which one you should focus on trading first?
 
The ship has sailed on getting a great offer for Zion imo

You can maybe get some draft capital though

You can still move Trey for great draft capital too

Use Herb and Trey to replenish your assets or get a young player back

I will say though

A core of Fears/Queen/Ware with other pieces like Missi and whoever else you can get shouldn’t sound too bad to you

i was getting ready to sell my missi stock, but he really seems like he has turned a corner with his perimeter defense. Still need him to be a better rebounder and shot alterer (sp?) but he can stay around another couple of seasons if this trajectory continues.

at least for now, i still do not trust Weaver or Dumars to put together any reasonable requests for those players nor do i trust them to pick players/ trade for players that will field a competent roster, so while it's tempting to imagine what kinda haul they could get, i dont trust the management of whatever the return will be

I feel you. Keep Missi though as a backup/spot starter moving forward

I think once they get more talent offensively to help take the load off of him hopefully that allows him to put more effort and injury into the defensive side of the court


I will say Atlanta either needs Dyson Daniels to be a better 3pt shooter and actually take them and/or Risacher really has to take steps forward with his on ball creativity

Risarcher was a no1 overall pick. He needs to be better or they need to move him. Plain and simple. They should also still attempt to flip those expiring for someone. Maybe JJJ.

I think JJJ even having a bad year is worth more than what you presented honestly but maybe I’m misguided

I like him better in Detroit too

I’m just saying I don’t like that for the grizzlies even with 2 picks
