What??? What you mean he switched up his style??? Lol
Maybe I gotta go back and listen but I remember he sounded different to me between Hunger for More (including all the g unit mixtapes/freestyle shit) and Rotten Apple. Even just his voice sounded off. I used to have hunger for more on repeat when it came out, didn't even give rotten apple a second spin. Maybe I'll go revisit.

Rotten Apple was very unfortunate
I remember The Big Withdrawal was supposed to be his 2nd album but he lost the tape at a chick's house or some shit and it got leaked

Hunger for More 2 was okay but you didnt like anything after that? I thought he had some solid mixtapes

After hearing rotten apple and then him kinda jumping on and off the radar I stopped checking for him...I fw the singles that was coming out but didn't listen beyond that.

I remember the story about banks leaving his new album with some jump offs so he had to scrap it

Never recovered 😑

His mixtapes have been dope

Cold Corner series
Halloween Havoc series
Gangsta Grillz tapes

He's dropped a few albums recently too that have been solid-good

Banks has been active and dropping music for his core fans but he still doesnt do any real promotion or visuals for his projects

Ill admit he needs to work on his production choices at time and switch to some more up tempo beats at time, the flow/voice is different from the G-Unit days, not as punchline heavy but the bars and subject matter are on point

Lyrically hes very underrated imo
