That's what's being said though, we have already been here dealing with this for centuries. We are the prototype antagonist in America, by design. At this we are just trying to survive extermination, all while still smiling, dancing, being capitalist, and calling ourselves American. Its cost us a lot, our identity usually. So I disagree that we are next, because we were first, still are.

The worst thing we can do is keep speaking up about other people's war while we're losing ours. We're not turning a blind eye, we can't afford to act like White people fear Black Americans to the point that we can save others from racism but not ourselves. That's almost funny.
 
I’m not replying to individual posts, but I’ll say this. We need to stay the fuck out of this fight. We can have empathy for the bullshit, even call it out, but don’t be in the street blocking ICE and shit. We been doing that for our own fight for decades. Let the guilty whites and immigrants fight this battle in the streets while we sit back like “yeah, now you see what we been dealing with”.

That said, don’t be cheering or even co-signing what Trump is doing. This is just white supremacy directed at Latinos and other immigrants. But it’s still white supremacy and we should always be against that considering the boot its had on our necks. I’m not glad that it’s directed at immigrants, I’m just glad that for once in this country it’s not directed at us.

Don’t be fooled though, our fight isn’t over. Shit will come back around no doubt. Just enjoy the time out while we got it.

lol @ come back around.. it aint never left us bruh and more boots on the ground and police presence on the streets dont sound like its gonna be a good situation for anyone that looks like us whether we are the CURRENT targets or not.. even tho we are by default. Aint no time out for us.

Im not saying we need to be out there all willy nilly but we cant afford look at this shit and not acknowledge that its fucked up and SOMETHING needs to be done about it. I dont know what that something is but the fact remains.. imo anyway

Well I pray we don't have to see how a scenario in which people currently choosing to do nothing reap what they sow cause I don't think its going to be anything good. Feels like a lot of people who had that same mindset a year ago didn't think they would be in the position they're in now. And I don't think trump and his cronies are done by a longshot. Thats all I can really say to your response 🤷🏿‍♂

I’m with you, but when you say something needs to be done about it, we don’t have to be the catalyst this time. Let somebody else be the catalyst. Then we can support if we so choose.
